hey from IL.
Hello all, My name is Jon and I'm finally making a post after a while of lurking lol. I have an 07 black suburban that needs some love and I just purchased some klasse/souveran products from autogeek to get started. I was looking for something to protect mama's truck for the winter and this seemed to pop up more than others.
My experience with detailing is amateur at best tinkering with compounds and waxes from the local auto parts store and my dewalt rotary. I never in my life spent so much on detail products at one time "kinda scared lol" but i'm confident that i made a good choice and the outcome will be great. While i'm at it and already falling off the deep end i was considering picking up a porter cable polisher and some pads to give this baby a beautiful shine.
thanks for the great info on the website , Jon

Re: hey from IL.
Welcome!!!!!!! The PC will definitely put a shine on your car if you put in the time. I'm a die hard Flex 3401 user as it cuts my time down to about 1/3 of that of the PC. The PC will vibrate your hands much more than say a Rupes or Flex but both of those cost quite a bit more and ultimately you'll get the shine with you PC. Using a smaller backing plate and pads make it more efficient. It won't run large pads like you Dewalt can and you really can't do any damage with a PC without absolutely trying. Even then it's hard to do. Welcome, good luck, and best wishes on getting the shine you're looking to acheive!!!
