old car
H ave a 86 pathfinder, orginal paint, red; no clear coat! paint is oxidized/white. What is the best product(s) to bring up the color? Does a porter cable 7424 polisher work the best for this type of paint restoration? Repainting is not an option due to cost...any help would be appreciated.

You would get better answers posting this in the detailing forum. You should also search the word oxidation and read some of the older post.
But yeah the PC with the right pads and polish would help you with the oxidation.
I currently use the optimum line of polishes and the edge system of pads and have had no problems removing oxidation. But there are many choices out there.
