Hello from the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan

I am new to this activity but I've ordered a new Limerock green Corvette and I want to be prepared to make and keep the finish absolutely beautiful from the start. I've never really had a fancy car before and as I'm 65 now, I've got to start from ground zero in the detailing arena. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
