What wax is recommended for a New Ruby red metallic?
I'm looking for something to really bring the shine out
On this color. Never done this color before and even though
I've been in the business for a bit. I'll never know everything
And so I'm always open minded to suggestions, thanks

You guess it collinite 845, bam

I think everyone should start with collinite 845. Cheap, super durable, super easy on/off, apply it to trim, no dust, no dried wax left behind, etc, etc...
If you find youre unhappy after awhile then change it up. But to get into it, this is the one. My goto wax for 90% of waxed vehicles. Goto sealant is menzerna powerlock for all the same reasons as 845, though a little more expensive. Both go an extremely long way too(apply very thin)

Re: What wax is recommended for a New Ruby red metallic?
Regardless of color the shine in paint comes from the polishing steps. As far as an LSP that won't mute the metallic, I would choose a sealant or a hybrid wax like Wolfgang Fuzion. My avatar is a Cherry Red Mustang with a coat of Fuzion. Cherry Red is a tinted clear, and Fuzion worked really well with it IMO. The Red Fire GT I Opti-Coated looked amazing, but most of that shine was due to the in depth paint correction that went it to the paint. That being said, coatings go on optically clear, which is going to give the metallic the best clarity assuming proper prep was done before applying the coating.

If you're looking strictly for a wax, look at Pinnacle Souveran Paste. Will really make that metallic pop. Looks excellent on my kona blue metallic.

Re: What wax is recommended for a New Ruby red metallic?
If I may be so bold, I will recommend a combo I have absolutey no practical experience with.
I've recently been daydreaming about what to use on my mid-toned metallic future retirement present.
1.AF Tripple
2.AF Tough Coat
3.AF Illusion
As quaint as this suggestion may seem, some research has gone into it.

In my experience...either Pinnacle Souveran paste or Griot's Premium Carnauba Paste Wax. Both give spectacular finishes and are very easy to use.
