New Guy here - SJ Cali

    Hello Guys/Gals,

Im a new guy here in AGO! Been reading and watching videos for some time and decided to join the forum.

I bought a 2013 black accord about a month ago and with -0 knowledge on washing cars i decided to buy Megs New car kit at Walmart.
I will never try to polish and wax with hands again! .
Long story short after reading and doing research i got down to this:
*Griot’s Garage Random Orbital Perfect Starter Kit- 3rd Gen
*Swapping out the 6.5" pads with 5.5" and buying extra orange, white pads.
*Buying 5" backing plate, 1 black pad.
    *Grit guards

    What i already have:
*Megs - Wash Mitt, Waffle Weave,Ultimate Polish, Ultimate wash and wax, Ultimate Wax, Ultimate Detailer and clay.
    *Stoners Invisible Glass
*Lots of MF from costco(35 for $15)

I think i picked up a new hobby/therapy. I'm actually selling my snowboarding gears for this. LOL

I still have questions that i can't seem to find doing search.
*If i get the 5" backing plate does it mean the 6" doesnt have any use anymore?
*Should i just stick with the 6" BP?

Watching all the videos made me dizzy, but its worth it!
    Have a nice day peeps!

Works great for the 6" Nanoskin Autoscrub pads.

Not if you want to use 5.5" buffing pads or even 5 to 5.5" microfiber pads. Click the below link for more information.

Welcome!!!! Nice to see another new member from the SF Bay Area coming on board.

    Different Pad does different things.

This chart is from our sister forum since I can't seem to locate the one on Autogeek.
