Amateur detailer chic
Hi everyone. I'm Jenny and I have been gaining experience detailing cars for the last 10 years. My husband and I have taken up an interest in rehabilitating old beat down soon to be classics. We are currently doing a near ground up restoration of a 1983 TransAm that is almost finished. We have painted, wetsanded and polished the black paint to a gorgeous shine and are slowly putting the interior and trim back together. Next we are going to tackle my 1991 Camaro RS t top V8 in teal. I've used many different products, including 3m, Meguiars, Mothers, Lexol, Pinnacle, Zymol, and my newest obsession, Optimum.
I'm looking forward to learning from the more seasoned members as well as helping out where I can.
Cheers!

Welcome Jenny. It sounds as though many of us will be learning from you and your hubby. If you don't post pictures of your projects we have a squad that will hunt you down and take your cars through the spinning swirl- o -matic car washes multiple times before returning them to your driveway. Get your camera ready.

Welcome to the Forum! Keep the pics coming, and hide your credit cards from your husband.
Wait, that may not work....
