    New to the forum

    Hi everyone.
I used to detail my car quite often back when I was in high school with my first car with the mothers 3 step stuff from the store. Nothing pro and all by hand. Since then I kind of stopped because as we all get older, we don't have time to spent 8 hours on a car too often.

So recently my mom has been telling me how my car has a lot of scratches and I decided to get it back into decent shape.

Here's a list of things I bought after some research I did online.
    Porter Cable 7424XP
CG detailing bucket + extra grit guard
    CG blacklight + hybrid v7
    3x microfiber applicators
    Boar's Hair Detail Brush Ultimate
    Megs 105 + 205
    Menzerna power lock
    AGO foam gun
    Autoglym vinyl and rubber care
Autoglym leather cleaner + care balm
    Autoglym custom wheel cleaner
Eagle one a2z wheel & tire cleaner

Things I had before all this
    Megs gold class car wash
Microfiber wash mitts and premium thick wash mitts
    Megs gold class nuba wax
mothers wax from the clay bar kit + 2 clay bars
    24x microfiber towels 16x16
    Simple green MAX
    automagic glass cleaner

Things I may need to pick up
    megs apc+
    5.5" hydrotech flat pads
    Raceglaze detailing brush set

This may sound like a lot of stuff I bought but I do have 2 cars and a bike to keep clean.
    2005 Acura TL Black
1993 Honda Prelude - Paint is in better condition then my TL and is a track car.
    2007 Honda CBR600RR
Also I spend time cleaning my girlfriends car and bike
    1996 Honda Prelude
    2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250

I also have access to a pressure washer from my previous employer as I worked at a car dealership for 6 years.
I started out as a lot boy and got into sales but I am out of that business now.
I am thinking about doing some detailing part time on the side if all goes well but just at home.

Planning to do some before and after shots of my work on the local forums as I see a few guys doing that and gaining some decent clientele. Facebook should also help.
