Noobie from Japan
Hi. I stumbled on this site while researching Dodo products. I've seen there products in action and wanted to learn more about them. I also need to get a good detail on the car and the Meguire's off the shelf products available here is just not cutting it. I have been using mirror glaze products for years but it is not available here. I have not seen any Japanese products that I like and I'm not able to read Japanese so finding reviews is out of the question.
I have always enjoyed detailing cars. I've only used of the shelf products over the years. Now that I have a car that I truly love, I want to pamper it with the good stuff. I have used Zaino products in the past but that was only because I could pick it up locally when I was living in Hawaii and California. I am by no means a expert but believe I'm at lease a little above novice when it comes to detailing.
I'm currently driving a R32 GTR. The paint is actually in great condition for a 20+ year old car. It is starting to oxidize a little on the roof, hood, and trunk. Nothing a good polish cannot take care of.

Welcome to Autogeek!
As an owner of an 02 VQ35 powered 95 Maxima and a long time Nissan fan boy, your car is AWESOME. Good to see someone taking care of a legend.

Since you live in Japan, take advantage of Naviwax products (I am thinking especially about Naviwax Ultimate Car Wax): you won't be disappointed!

Re: Noobie from Japan
Welcome,
Unfortunately when I lived in Japan I wasn't into detailing so I don't have any first hand knowledge but a quick google search brought up some options so it should be entertaining.
My Japanese is fairly rudimentary but if you are curious about a certain product send me a link or a pic and I will try to help you decipher it.
I lived in the stix but if you are near any metropolitan areas try to get to some Japanese car shows as it may give you some exposure to better products than you might find OTC.
