Hi Everyone!

I'm From Cape Town South Africa.

Firstly, I'd Like to thank everyone on AGO for all their useful tips and how to's. I have been wondering around the forum for a little while picking up on new ideas and some really grateful tips, so thank you all very much!

A little bit about me:
I am a Private pilot studying for my commercial license.

I started detailing when i was still in school quite by accident. I was washing may car and then my mom's car when my neighbor came out of her garage and asked me what i would charge to wash her car.... thats when it hit me (when ever i asked my father for something that i really wanted that was expensive, he always used to say that i had better start washing cars).

So off I went on the internet and started researching car washing etc and slowly built up my knowledge about washing cars.

I told my dad about my idea about going around the neighborhood washing cars and he thought it was a great idea and helped me get started by buying me some car wash shampoo, a sponge and a chamois.

I designed and printed some fliers which i handed out everywhere and slowly but surely i was washing cars

eventually i made enough money to buy myself a DA polisher and some pads and some Meguiars products.

After much reading and watching "how to" videos I started polishing my car and my parents cars to get to grips with it all and it all came out rather well.

I slowly built up my arsenal of detailing equipment and a few months later I got my first "big" detailing job - Black CL63 AMG

The bug had bitten badly and since then I have been fortunate to have detailed many cars and only a few weeks ago i got to detail my first aircraft Which as we speak is being used in the Presidents Trophy Air Race.

My first order from AG will hopefully arrive next week - can't WAIT!!!!!

I will try post a thread on the Aircraft I detailed later on today or tomorrow
