Talking Aloha from the middle of the Pacific...

I have lurked here long before, but never really got into detailing like I should have. I don't even remember what my info was back then...sheesh!

Anyway, I just got through watching some awesome vids of Mike Phillips showing how to use a DA and which one does what. I got a 1st gen PC 7424 and just learned about the non-rotational action...I always wondered why it did that. Not to mention which pads I should be using...not using...love it!
However, looks like I'll need to visit Ranney and get a Flex 3401 soon!

Man there's just so much info here and it seems like everyone is very helpful and respectful...I don't see too many hijacking of threads, and most will stay on the subject.

So I'm a newbie, and I'm here to absorb as much Auto Detailing as I can...as well as from the PakShak in Hawaii.

    Aloha!
Reflecting Knowledge to the Detail! Ha!!

    Welcome to Autogeek Online!

Kind of doesn't matter what your info was before because things are changing all the time and faster than I've ever seen in my life.

It used to be you had to have some skill to work on clear coat paints, now because of tools, pads and products ANYONE can get professional results their very first time machine buffing.

    Thanks for the welcome aboard!
@ Bobby - I like your comments, very sensible and to the point...and your C5 Z06 is looking Fabulous...Love the color...can you see me now! hahaha! I had a 911 that was Guards Red just so those peeps in them SUVs could see me.

@ Mike - Yep that's the link I was on for some time yesterday...the wife kept asking "so what are you reading now?" I tell her I'm speed reading...watching videos on new technology.
You're correct, this industry has changed fast...I can't believe my pc 7434 is obsolete so to say....and it has such a nice case...hahaha!

@ mjlinane - I hope those tornadoes didn't affect you? Sorry I have no idea where Round Rock is in relation to Dallas, but that was some weird stuff.
