to a degree, but if you don't make an example out of someone, then your entire schedule will run amuck. I bet anyone else who views this thread and is considering the course will make damn sure their schedule is cleared

All too true, I'm sure Paul is pretty busy and needs to keep a tight schedule...
But I still think it's wrong to just keep all the money without providing anything in return, regardless of being written in a contract. A $200 non-refundable deposit I can see, but $2200? I guess it weeds out those who aren't serious and any potential no-shows.
Question for OP, was $2200 the entire cost of the training? Was a full-cost deposit required? Or did you prepay in full voluntarily?

I have some land on the moon for sale if anybody is interested.
Only 500$ per acre.
Upon arriving you can carve Paul Daltons name in the moon rock for an additional 3300$
Not to make light of your loss but I can't help but feel a sense of awe that someone would pay that much for a detailing lesson.
I am sorry for your loss...

Barry Theal hit the nail on the head. What could Paul teach you that Renny has/can not? There is no magical detailing potion in England. I have been there and it's cold, rainy, the food sucks but the earth still rotates the same as it does in the U.S. Paul is an excellent marketer and it has served him well. You can't blame the guy for your airlines screwup. Paul Dalton is running a business...successful I might add.

Good question. I've always been taught to never pay more then 50% on anything untill services are rendered
I also would not keep someones entire deposit..... Well, maybe I would if they created a thread on a forum bashing my good name

I wonder if this response was what "Detailinginc" expected. I bet he thought everyone would say "Screw Paul Dalton! I'm never going to him and I've changed my mind about him because of what Detailinginc posted"......
