    WO im new! from canada

hey guys, my names zach new to the forum, been reading around for the last few days at products and information to further educate myself on detailing. ive been detailing on my days off on friends vehicles to make some extra money in the last while. but just doing a good wash, and maybe a clay/wax. and interior. and i also worked for a dealership when i was younger detailing service vehicles and prepping sold cars for delivery.

mainly ive gotten pretty good at doing what i do because of the care on my own vehicles which im sure most of you can relate to.

whats really interested me lately is the full paint correction techniques.

so what ive done is actually compiled a list of products that i figure make a good starter kit, but of course i would greatly appreciate your guys input on what ive picked out.

    -FLEX-L3403-800
    -WG-8OZC

    or skip last and get:
    -WG-TRIO1
    with - finishing glaze 3.0
    -total swirl removal 3.0
    -auto bathe

    -WG-5500

    -WG-9000CMB

-and this is i just know i need! DSM-1000

i have wash buckets, and interior products that i use, i mainly am just looking at getting paint correction wax buff yada yada

    thanks guys!!!

    To Autogeek Online Zach!

I see you're as fan of rotary polishers, how long have you been using a rotary?

Rotary's were on the scene long before dual action polishers were even thought of. While I have no way of knowing for sure, I suspect the dual action polisher is an off-shoot from the dual action sander.

Wolfgang makes some great products and you'll be satisfied with your choices.

Don't forget a good supply of foam polishing pads, Microfiber towels and some wax.

Lake Country Buffing Pads, Polishing buffing pads, buffing pads, polishing pads, ccs foam pads, ccs polishing pads

    Microfiber

    Wax

do you guys recommend the dual action orbital over the rotary?

ive used orbitals before, and i just feel i would prefer rotary over it for control.

    welcome fellow Canuck!

dual action or rotary it's all good. People like the flex and with the new 4inch backing plate, I doubt there'll be too many hard to reach spots for it.

DAs are sometimes easier to finish with though, and if you intend to get the new Megs mf polishing system, then I'd get a DA... ppl here usually have both, several of each even!
