    Hi from freezing Toronto

It's -18C with the wind chill today and we haven't even begun winter yet what gives??

    Hi all,

My send post actually (just posted in the griot's giveaway) and was trying to post a question about clay in the regular board but couldn't figure it out so maybe I'll try here:

the backs of my side mirrors and the bumper under the headlights are rough even after washing. Will clay help or is it too late to save the finish. I'm guessing all the highway driving must have been like sand blasting on the paint. I just bought a black car off lease that had been driven on the highway mostly. Looks fine after waxing but doesn't feel like glass like the rest of the car...

    Embolism!

It sounds like the finish in these areas have seen their fair share of winter weather and road debris like sand and salt.

The headlights more than probable be restored but the other area "might" need to be repainted.

A few photos would help a great deal!

    Thanks BobbyG

planning to wash the car this weekend and maybe snap some pics.

Have another question actually. There is a 3M? bra over the front of the hood and I read somewhere that AIO etched it really bad. I'm worried now cause I just ordered AIO and SG yesterday. Should I just avoid those areas entirely? Thanks
