Not bad, not bad....honestly I think I was just going to narrow it down and go simple and leave my name out of it and stick with Daniel Boone Detailing..

Maybe have a guy with a racoon skin hat on detailing a car as my logo if I can find someone to make it for me.
Making it memorable is definitely a plus.
We have a member here that goes by,
The Buffing Moose
I can't wrap my brain around a Moose detailing a car but the name sure sticks.

Re: Hey from KY!
I've read numerous posts from him, and I admit the name and logo definitely stick out! I just saw your Detail Miracles Inc suggestion also and I do like that. So many options/choices, but I do admit the DBD one is sticking with me for some reason!

Doesn’t do much for me but Daniel Boone is not a big figure around here. If he’s prevalent where you live makes more sense. You want your advertising and name to work locally

FWIW:
•Daniel Boone found coonskin hats to
be despicable and didn’t wear them.
-His choice of hats were wide-brimmed
felt or beaver hats—ie.: Quaker style.
(He was born in Pennsylvania.)

My name does actually start with a D, so that works honestly! Pretty good name and slogan, thanks Bob!
Also, yeah, I knew that about DB. College I graduated with had a DB statue and every finals time you’d go rub his “golden toe” for good luck and he wore the wide brim hat. The raccoon skin just went more with the area and tradition here.

I missed this the first read, I definitely did not know this, great piece of info. Thanks a lot!

Back in August 2013:
The good citizens of Barbourville dedicated
a new statue of Daniel Boone at the Knox
County Courthouse. The wide-brim hat is
prominently on display.
