Hello from the Mojave Desert of So. Cal.
I've enjoyed detailing cars and motorcycles since I was too young to drive. Retired now, and going a little deeper down the detail rabbit hole. I could go so deep I would need a swirl finder to light my way, but I have a mile of dirt road between my garage and pavement. The trade off is land and lots of open space.
Just bought my first machine, a Supa BEAST. Mike Phillips THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I am learning the products, pads, machine, and technique on my 2002 31' Gel Coat Weekend Warrior Toyhauler. I use to keep it up by hand with Meguiars RV products. It got neglected for a few years. I learned here to now use the Supa Beast, Marine 31 products, Lake Country Hybrid pads, and the 6" plate.
Learning the Supa Beast with 6" plate, Compound & Polish, followed by Gel Coat Wax + Sealant, on a the vertical sides of an RV, sure pumped my arms!
Thanks to all of you who contribute to make this such a knowledgeable and friendly place.

Hello and welcome. I have not had a date milkshake in a long time.
'Cause there's just something women like about a pickup man.

Did you already get the 6" backing plate I show here?
Supa BEAST and CBEAST Backing Plate Swap by Mike Phillips
Love the 7" RUPES yellow foam polishing pads - if you have the 6" backing plate.

Welcome to AGO. Great choice in DA. I bought the Supa Beast to be my replacement for the OLD BEAST 3401. I can't wait to try it out. But welcome to AGO

Welcome to AGO.
You certainly purchased the top of the line machine that there is. Congrats!
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Thanks all for the welcome.

The goal is to help people get it right the first time.

Read it from cover to cover, absorb the information. You'll know more than most when it comes to detailing cars.
Next - invest time behind the polisher. See my article here,
If you spend enough time behind any tool you can make it dance on paint -Mike Phillips

Re: Hello from the Mojave Desert of So. Cal.
Mike, it's a big RV, I'm investing the time. Today was the first time "make it dance" VERY briefly occurred. Chest high section, wax/sealant only. In the beginning, the compound sections tossed me around like I was in an alley behind the dance. I find myself switching right/left handed, but always both hands.
I continue to read your articles. You have a very clear, understandable style. Thanks for all the work that goes into them.
