My father-in-law lives in Italy (some where near Rome) welcome to the forums. I love when he visits and brings a crap load of wine to drink, and some times cheese some how follows him

Hi, romans are very fine people and they are lucky to live in a such beautiful and unique city.
Milan and his hinterland are become the biggest industrial pole in Italy, so life quality is worse than Rome and central/south Italy, but many italians live here to work.
Anyway food is very good all over Italy: best foods are cheese, "prosciutto", wines, espresso coffee and obviously spaghetti and pizza!
