I have been detailing my rides for a while now, and got more into it about 10 years ago. I learned some of the basics back then from Junkman's videos on YouTube. The rest of the time has been trial and error with different products.
I find myself coming here more often as Tapatalk for Android makes reading through forums much easier. Yesterday, I tried out Wolfgang WG-5500 deep gloss paint sealant, that was recommended by a bunch of people here. I've got to say it looks great, I did my second coat today on my Durango.
I don't claim I'm an expert by any means, and know there is always something to learn. I do pride myself in my vehicles cleanliness, and spend more time than I would like to admit making them look that way. Probably have ADD for cars/trucks LOL!
Sorry for the long post, it got big before I knew it! Just wanted to say hi!
Here is a picture of my current rides, an 18' Dodge Charger Daytona 392, and an 18' Dodge Durango R/T.

Re: First post
Thanks guys!
I have been using Adam's Polishes lineup, to include the paint sealant from them. Just wasn't impressed with it, and to be honest, I haven't been happy with most of their products. While everything looks nice and clean, I don't feel it's adding any gloss and the protection doesn't last longer than the first rain or two. I also learned their polishing pads are junk, as I tried Chemical Guys out for the first time yesterday for my finishing polish. It was a night and day difference, maybe it's not the best pad out there, but at least it didn't fall apart.
So thanks to a thread I was reading on here, I tried out the Wolfgang paint sealant. Looks great by the way! I got back on later to see what would be a good maintenance regiment to maintain it, and possibly extend its properties. Someone mentioned they did two coats, so I figured why not and did a second coat today. Also, it was mentioned they used Wolfgang's Instant Detailing Spritz, and Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, which can help maintain the sealant I used. So I am looking at ordering that in the next week here.
So I guess this wasn't a question and more of what I did LOL! I kind of hinted to it in my first post, but I am a huge fan of detailing. I find using this app is so handy, as I also use it for my Durango and Charger forums. I'm sure I'll be around more often here thanks to that.
Anyway, thanks again for the welcome!

You got it figured out more than most people who think they know everything.
Impressed with your thinking---you'll do very well with that mind set.
Again---welcome and by the way, good photos too...
