Hello AG - I am a returning member but I couldn't seem to revive my old account or remember what I named it. My name is Uriah and I am just a hobbyist detailer/weekend warrior though i did make a little extra money on the side a few years ago. Raising kids and being away from my VW's kinda got me bored with the detailing. Forgive me for my sins but yes I have visited a few gas station tunnel washes. Wait don't ban me! lol

I just picked up a new black GTI so naturally I had to get back to my old ways with 2 buckets and break out the PC again for my dealer included swirls. Bottle of HD speed came yesterday and I can't wait to get into it. I was a huge fan of poli-seal for AIO before. I had to purge some of my chemicals and pads but I still have decent arsenal. I see Mike lost a leg since I was here last! Florida life? Missed you Meghan!

I used to use photobucket for pics but looks like that is not the way to do things anymore. Anyway, enough rambling. Peace!

Thanks guys! Not sure I'll be as active as I used to be as I don't plan on scheduling any actual clients like I used to. My main interest is keeping the two daily drivers looking good and coming up to speed on new products (and man there is a lot). Coatings were just coming around (Optimum etc) when I was last here. I do need to replenish some supplies due to either giving away or throwing away some of the stuff i had. Goal#1 is to see if this HD speed can get my new ride back to the way it should be. Cautiously optimistic!

From personal experience I can say HD Speed is an awesome product. It is in the category of "cleaner wax/sealant" and is meant as a one step clean, slightly abrade and protect. I don't use it on my personal cars instead opting for dedicated correction products (compounds and polishes) and then protecting with a coating. I do use it quite a bit on customer's who want a one step paint package.

If time is an issue and you don't want to spend or have a lot of time HD Speed is phenomenal as a one hit time saver.

Again, welcome back and there are so many great new product offerings since your last active period! That's the fun part to me, though.
