Welcome to AG. I'm sure you do what you can, but having talked to a friend who worked (briefly) in a dealership detailing department I know a lot of wisdom falls on deaf ears there.
Jut try to continue to keep yourself to a higher standard and educate whoever will listen.

A popular saying among the salesman is “We sell cars, not details” when I tell them how much time I’ll need on a car and they don’t like what they here. I just stare back at them blankly because we do sell detailing services. What the saying does reflect though is how dealerships priotritze time over quality in all areas, not just detailing. Dealerships and detailing are oil and water. With dealerships it’s get em in get em out ASAP. With detailing, the more time you have the better. As you know, there’s always something you can do to enhance a vehicle’s appearance through detailing.
