    Hello from the blue monster!

Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. And I have to say, this has to be the nicest forum I've ever come across!

Anyway, reason for the post is this:

While driving about 35, golf ball coming from the blue monster landed smack on my hood! First dent on the car Hello from the blue monster!

Managed to buff out the paint transfer, no problem, but hoping you all can point me to a good how-to on removing dents. Any and all help appreciated!

Also, forgive the filthy state of the paint! Just embarrassing all around for my first post on Autogeek Hello from the blue monster!

Oh, since this is an introduction post, here's a couple pics of the ride, Celia:

Welcome to the forum that's a nice ride you have there. I would just have a PDR guy fix the dent for you. I have played around a bit with dent repair and it's not easy. It takes a lot of practice and training to get it down and some cash for quality tools.

Nice car, too bad about Happy Gilmore doing work on your hood. I would hire a good PDR guy for your dent. Trying to do it yourself will 99% of the time make it look no better if not worse. You would think a small dent in a large flat panel like a hood would be easy to remove, it's not.

I completely agree. Many moons ago I tried to play around with a dent...needless to say, take it to PDR, you will be much happier.
