Figure out your desired hourly rate and go from there, don't forget to add for any chemicals used. If all you're doing to the bike is wiping it down, I personally would charge around $30. It's not like you're going to make bank off of it anyway

Depends on the bike, amount of chrome, side bags, hard to clean wheels, how dirty it is......anyone who's asked me to clean their bike usually wants the whole shebang. I've never been asked to just do a wipe down. $30 seems fair for a basic wash.

    Re: Detail motorcycle

I charge $30 an hour for bike detailing. I go over the bike with the customer and get an idea of what level they are expecting and give them and estimated time to complete it, generally 3-5 hours.

I also prefer to do this type of work at home instead of mobile. I enjoy bikes, and they are easy to work on early or late in the day when I can fit them in.

    Re: Detail motorcycle

Motorcycles take more time than a lot of people realize, especially if you start hand polishing and coating all the chrome, paint, etc. Quote a wide range to give yourself some breathing room.
