But again, this "branding" only matters when you're at that level.
What sells my services is my sales skills, the copy I use in emails, the customer service I provide, etc..
Regardless if I had no logo and my business name was Gil's Detailing
Branding is nice to do, but not essential.. Get to $500,000 in annual sales and then worry about branding

I am assuming you didn't either. They all stress the importance. Three of the four articles are from, Entrepreneur, Smallbiz, fox's small business division. Who do you think their target customer is? The Ralph Lauren was a story, not the type of customers the article was geared for.
I will drop it.
