Re: "Wash and wax" ....to machine wax or aerosol?

I find hydro2 to be too finicky (expect wheels) for production work (I'm personally slower when using hydro2 constantly worrying about streaking). I like opti-seal. WOWO with a microfiber towel.

ONR wash, Clay, Opti-Seal, Dry. Regular wash for jams, wheels, cracks, etc.

Personally I am at $125-150 to wash, clay and seal a small/medium suv. That's just the exterior. Then $60-90 for a more "express" type interior detail of that size.

You may want to consider raising your prices. Explain to customers value and price are not the same, etc.

I would not touch a buffer for under $225 on a small/medium suv, meaning I'm using an AIO 2-3 passes and moving on to clean up the paint and remove any light haze.

Price to your market but I think for your prices you are going to work yourself to death for what will work out to be $10-15/hr after taxes.

You want quick and easy, and shiney. Blackfire Crystal Seal, the 10 Minute paint sealant.....wipe on walk away. If you want more, through on some Optimum spray wax if they want wax.

What about 845? You can easily knockout an average car/suv with a DA and red/black pad in under ten minutes, move to vacuum, clean glass and wipe off wax!

I agree the price is way too low.

Consider buying a gallon of Megs Synthetic Xpress Wax. Its basically Quik wax but much cheaper
