My 'basic' package running around $110 for a car doesn't have nano skin/paint decontamination so I don't have to worry about marring.

The next two levels 'plus' & 'premium' both have Nanoskin but one has an AIO and the other has full 3-Step Process so it's all good.

About that $180/case of MF towels.. can I get them in different colors?

I have ONR but I don't think I will be doing too many rinse less washes... have it mainly for detail spray/clay lube. I have just a few select 'towel categories' that I need to get towels selected for and they are in the spread sheet.

    Paint Drying
    Paint Buffing Polish + Wax
    Interior Clean + Buff
    Windows Clean + Buff
    Rim & Engine/Dirty Cleaning Towel
Yes, they'll split them for a 15% (split case) charge.
(Although they've been known to waive the charge.)

    Drying, use waffle weave.
Get specialty glass towels for that. Look up "huck towels", they work GREAT. Although there are great choices in microfiber.
Interior, rims, engine, all that can be done with the el-cheapo Costco towels. They run $13.95 here for 36, that's 39¢ each. Easily something you can use, then throw away (if you want).
Paint buffing, the 365's can do any paint I've seen yet!
Final LSP wipedown they'll also do, but if you want to impress a client, get some Korean 470/500's or the extra plush 700's.

I don't do rinseless, (generally) because I do everything here. But mobile, rinseless is a lifesaver these days. Load a 5 gallon bucket with a few dozen towels, layered in, fill it with ONR (or whatever you're using). Pull the towels out, wipe, then throw in another bucket. It'll take a dozen (or less) to wash a clean car, more to wash a dirty car.

The washer mod is something all Rupes machines tend to need, unless you like the pad to stop rotating. The backing plate has friction with the shroud, by design. Problem is, that friction is so great that unless you're only doing perfectly flat panels the backing plate will stop rotating! Have to pull the backing plate and put a very thin, 8mm washer behind it. All's good after that.

And I'll still stand behind Nanoskin as the method of choice. Just make sure to break it (them) in good. You'll not get marring with a fine grade that's broken in.
