Getting a logo
Hey Geeks,
I am trying to get my logo designed locally, but the cost is going to be around 250-300. For those of you that had one made by a local place what did it cost you? Just would like to know if this is normal and if its even worth it.

Re: Getting a logo
That's about right for a logo a little high but that's ok. Make sure you are 110% happy with your logo make changes if you have to. Don't be afraid to say if you are unhappy with how something looks.

Thanks Evan. Maybe I will just pony up the dough. I am skeptical about having an internet based company do it. Unless someone knows of a high quality one. Want something that is gonna stand out from the run of the mill.

You get what you pay for. You should go with a pro if you want to look like a pro.

I'm more than certain you have some local pros in your area. Do a bit more digging around and check local car forums. They always have local design/print shops make team shirts, stickers, banners, etc..

Re: Getting a logo
I got mine done on fiverr.com it does look a little typical but it was my design. I drew it on paper and the guy made a rendering of it. He changed it a bit but for the most part it came out how i imagined it. For $5 you cant beat it.
For some inspiration check out Vive detailing in houston TX they have a simple yet modern logo that looks great IMO.

I definitely believe you get what you pay for. This company that I might be going with has done a lot of local businesses and they look very nice.

Yes I do and I already contacted them. I was just curious if their price was high.

+1 for Tony! I was very impressed with his professionalism and loved the little package he sent with my design.
