Marketing of Opti-Lens for Headlight Restoration
How should I market the use of Opti-Lens as a headlight sealant, or should I mention it at all?
I've thought of numerous ways to go with this from simply saying the lenses are coated with a quality UV protectant to pushing some of their claims
===
Opti-Lens is formulated with the UV inhibitors to protect lens, as well as
being designed to bond to the polycarbonate housing.
Optimum Opti-Lens Headlight Coating is a resin-based coating designed to protect headlights against yellowing, fading and discoloration for the life of the vehicle. Optimum Opti-Lens Headlight Coating forms a covalent bond with the headlight and cross-links to blanket the lens with a durable, protective film. Headlights coated with Optimum Opti-Lens Headlight Coating will retain perfect clarity in any environment – forever!

I'm new to using Opti-Lens and wondering how many standard sets of headlights I can expect to coat with a 40 ml tube? I'm still trying to figure out my average cost for supplies etc.
Should I offer two tiers, basically an alternative sealant and upsell the Opti-Lens?
What am I safe to gaurantee for a clarity 18 months, 2 years?
As always, thanks

If you have a 40 ml tube, that's the pro version, why isn't Optimum helping you with these questions? They should at least be able to tell you how many lights you're going to get out of the syringe and how to warranty them.

^^^All Opti-Lens is the same, whether you get the 40ml or 10. There is not a Pro version.

Yes, but I can't buy a 40cc syringe, which means he is a pro customer or getting it backchannel.

Could you work headlight coating into your "Platinum Package", instead of a separate service and charge
I know some people must roll in and ask for "the works"
Just a thought

I don't mention it, I just mention it's one of the best headlight coatings and the product claims to last forever, but expect to get 2-5 years out of it.
You could offer a 2 year warranty with it and up charge. If you want two different headlight restoration options.

Ultimate fail with the product. Headlights will still yellow fairly quickly.
