i already got a called from a company that does wraps, and they stated that hhr's are notoriously known for being hard to wrap, specially on the front and back bumpers.
I'm not a big fan of vehicles that are completely wrapped, probably because I like to polish paint and I like the gloss and shine you get of polished paint.
Maybe take a look a just getting some signage?
Then polish the heck out of the paint?

Hello mike! at first i was thinking of putting soap bubbles around the fenders and my logo on both panels, but the quote i got was pretty close to 1k! Im leaning more towards what youre saying..just the logo on the panel sides and some lettering saying what my services are. Like that ill have paint to polish and the price will be more in my budget. god willing i'll be on my way to stuart on thursday for TOG!

Hey Josue I think your going to have a great mobile vehicle!
I think your logo with number and a website would be enough.
Like Mike stated you need paint on there to polish, you have done one great job on it and it's starting to look very good!
Later down the road when extra money is there some factory chrome rim's would look fantastic.
Going to be one of the best mobile detail vehicles I've seen

Hello my friend, thank you for your kind and encouraging words. i agree, mike is right. i want paint to
logos on both sides of the panel and perhaps some lettering saying what i do along with my phone number will be enough. im waiting for my 55 water tank to arrive to my local norther tool store. im thinking of going to harbor freight today and checking out some presidents day sales they have going on on some generators and maybe ill buy an air compressor too. i totally agree with the rim idea, ive been looking at craigslist.. but nothing good so far. new rims w tires are around $800.. thats the cheapest ive found and that they look decent. ofcourse, thatll be down the road.. as soon as i get my equipment ill post more pics. again, thank you for the motivation

Re: HHR Panel for Mobile Detailing unit?
hello everyone, just a little update on the hhr.. im about 80% ready to run it for business. initially i had bought a 55 gallon tank ..but honestly.. it was way too huge for my hhr and it was blocking my rear window and it was unsafe for me to have that thing. i opted out and returned it and did a little research on plastic water tanks here locally in miami.. i was lucky enough to find a place thats called tankdepot and they had the right water tank for me. not as big as 55 gallon capacity but close enough. i got a 45 gallon tank thats slimer and doesnt take up much room and it doesnt block my rear window. i also bought a water pump so it can feed my pressure washer. i did all of the plumbing. i placed an order for my company's tshirts ( to start with) and should have them in by saturday. i'm planning on getting a couple of polos embroided as well. i also got a small generator, very small and portable. i already tried it and it works great, it can run my water pump and a vacuum with no problem. i was also lucky enough to find some sick 18' polished aluminum rims for my hhr, it was from an ex hhr owner that had the stock rims and decided to keep them before selling the hhr..he posted an ad on craiglist and i jumped on that real quick.. i should have them installed by friday if it goes well. my last 20% would be having my company's logo and some vinyl lettering put on the hhr. thats where im at now.after requesting quotes from various companies, i finally found one that will do it for $350. this is the rough layout that i submitted to them so they can have an idea of the work i want done.
the actual lettering will not be exactly how it is in this picture. i just did it so they can have an idea of the work i want done. this is where i want you guys to help me out deciding what i should put in as my lettering... i was thinking of "mobile detailing or detailer" "wash and wax specialist" "free estimates" (my phone number obviously) and im stuck there... what else, or what would be the important things i should have lettering?! any help would be great.
im already submitting a signed invoice and they required 50% of the total amount before any work is started, so ill be submitting that too. i'll definitely put up pictures once im 100% ready with the hhr

thanks man! believe it or not, ive done some cars with it already. and thats all i really need. it supports my pump 120volt pump and my vacuum at the same time. very light, its no honda but its ok on noise level. best of all it was very affordable. harbor freight, with 2 year warranty, $80 and change.

today was a busy day for me
detailed the engine, washed the hhr, clayed the hhr, and i did a 3 step to the hood.. because it really needed it. youll see in the pics.
i also did a 3 step on the roof aswell. too many swirl marks.
i used my rupes, megs mf cutting and polishing pads. for compound i used m105. for polishing i used a combo of two products, i dunno i got crazy and after testing a spot out the results were awesome. i used 2 pea size drops of hd speed, and 2 lil drop size of Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite Cleaner Glaze.. mike phillips hooked me up when i went up to stuart to help out on the impala.. so i figured what the heck let me try this thing. great results with the two. to top it off i also went crazy with it i did two layers of paint sealant. one layer i used Optimum Poli-Seal, after that, i used Poorboy's World EX-P Pure Sealant.. let that sit for 20-30 mins and than buffed it out with a mf towel. wham, bam, thank you ma'm. i must say, the results are amazing.. but enough talking, ill leave you guys with the pictures, and you guys tell me what you think.

this is how it looked before getting washed

view of the cargo area, did the whole interior yesterday.
Attachment 25230
here's a lil sideview of the rear door entrance
Attachment 25231
another angle of the inside. theres a couple of hooks and latches where i can use straps to keep things in place.
Attachment 25232
cargo area, different angle.
Attachment 25233
close up of the cargo area. there's room to play with, granted not alot, but there's room.
Attachment 25234
a shot of the interior.
Attachment 25235
here's the hood and all the swirls that came with it. if you look closely, you can see that this van was used as a pest control van before. definetly had to cut, and than polish.. didnt want to do a half ass job.
Attachment 25236
close up of the damaged hood.
Attachment 25237
here's the roof. cut, polished and sealed. reflection
Attachment 25238
The AFTER shot of the hood. m105 did a great job at cutting all those swirls and erasing that lettering that was still visible in sunlight.
Attachment 25239
too bad that i finished the job late and the sunlight was not as strong, but im very happy with the results.
hopefully ill finish the rest by tomorrow and ill post more pics!
ill keep you guys updated.. oh and as i was working on it, a neighbor stopped and asked me to give him a quote on his explorer. i guess he liked my work.
Great job and congrats on the rig! I don't know what it is, but its always so awesome to see a very well shined vehicle.
