    New car prep work

    Hey guys,

do any of you offer to prep new cars for your clients? I mean, do the prep work instead of the dealership for them.

If so, what do you do exactly and how much do you charge?

Also, is there good demand for this service?

    Thanks in advance

Only if you have a well established client base that is aware of the issues that can arise from dealer prep and the benefits of letting you prep. These type of services are best sold as part of a protection packaged to get the vehicle coated, etc. "right off the bat".

What to charge? What you would normally charge for a exterior detailing and coating I suppose. I don't like applying interior products to new cars as the owners resent losing the "new car smell", but thats just me personally.

Ya but you need to remove all the plastic protection, and do a ton of other things besides doing the coating. I have never prepared a new car so I don't know what it involves.
