Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. One of the things that really amazed me with the detailing community when I first got started was how eager everyone was to help with advice. It is extremely rare in any field, much less a service field.

I really do hope that people get some benefit from this and it turns out to be a useful tool. There are plenty of dirty cars out there to go around!

Thanks very much for sharing this detailed information. I you are so right about the guys here on AGO, they are really a great bunch of guys. I think everyone here wants all others to succeed, it is so great to have guys even like yourself who want to give back for others and help those who are trying to do things also.

Great posting.... I truly think the reason people here are so helpful is when one succeeds we all succeed. MANY people (non-detailers) have no idea what detailing really is. So when one of us knocks it out of the park we all win. Good stuff.

Great article. I am starting a mobile bus featuring the rinnseless car wash, your thoughts. And what are your thoughts on a source for water and/or electric for us beginners?

Rinseless is the way to go. Unless a car is severely dirty is very seldom a reason to pull out a hose.

Water and electric source... how big is your vehicle? I keep a 65 gallon water tank in the back of my Ram 1500 and that is enough for 30 or so washes. For power I have an electric generator in my trailer, and an 1000w inverter in my truck. The inverter is enough to run my DA, Ridgid 2.5 horse shop vac, and hand held steamer (not at once of course).
