AM Radio Advertising
We have been using AM radio the past year with great results. We have diffrent ads on the faith, sports and political channels. Your future customer is driving around in their dirty car and your ad plays over the radio. You will be suprised how many people listen to AM radio. I run 500 spots a month at $2.00 a spot it has been well worth the money. I'm here to help with any advertising questions or idea's. Let me know what has worked for you.

Re: AM Radio Advertising
On average I would say 50 or more calls a week on 500 spots.. When new cusomer comes to the shop, I have them fill out a form with all their info and how did you hear about us. Radio introduces a wide range of customers to your service. Your add is key you have to get the drivers attention in a short period of time. Here is one of my ad idea's, that we ran. I'am not a advertising pro so take this for what it's worth. Two women are talking, I'm giving them car names just for fun.
Mercedes:WOW girl how do you keep your car loking so good?
Lexus:Yea Incredibly Detailed Auto Detail!
Mercedes: Incredibly Detailed came to my house and had my car looking better than new! I called 555-5555 and made my appointment. Thats Incredbily detail 555-5555
We had two real customers do the voice over in trade for some work on their cars. I'm sure you guys know atleast two women. You can also use your own voice. Keeping the ads fresh is a must you don't want to hear the same ad 20 times a day. My city is a huge college sports town. That been said all the fans in town listen to the sports talk. That's alot of cars.

Re: AM Radio Advertising
as a huge fan of horse racing Im wondering if you do anything at Churchill or if you sponsor any races or anything like that? lots of people in that industry with plenty of money to spend. I live not far from you in Indiana and have a track in the city I live in and I got hooked up with the President of that facility (also a casino) and did some free work for him and he got me advertisements in the racing program and also got a contract with him to do his security vehicles and shuttle buses. works out well to get employees done while they are at work there and also, going back to the horse track part, there are lots of older men who sit at the track for simulcasting several times a month and spend hours there. plenty of time to get their vehicles cleaned while they bet and many of them have lots of cash to spend. just a thought.
