    Detailing at Office Buildings

Does anyone here have any tips on how to get office buildings to let you detail in their parking lots? Something like once a week 10-5 basis. Should I expect to pay the building? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think there was a thread about this some time ago.

The member that posted it was forced to be fully insured to be able to continue with his work on the premises. So...at least count on that!

I do washes for 3 different businesses in their parking lots. I do it on the side of the building with no traffic except employee parking. In 2 cases one employee had my services done and pasted the word around they building and now the owners let me setup shop in their lot. The other got my name from a client i did and the owner asked if I could come do washes in their lot for the employees. Only problem I ever run into is trying to fit in as many cars as you can and still let them go to lunch.

Talk to your customers and ask them, if they are pleased with the work please spread the word. If you get any business off it, throw in a free wax job next time that client gets a wash.

Get long extension cords and water hose, and a 12x12 canopy!

    Re: Detailing at Office Buildings

Ive never actually asked the business building's owner - just started working at offices. I was called once after working for a year and a half at on office and was told to leave.... only cause someone called them and said we were using their water (misinformed) - I stayed professional (when they were somewhat mean about it) and they decided to let us keep working. No problem since . It is also always nice to be able to say the words,"Yes we are insured". That helps.
