    Taking care of the extracurriculars

Ok I'm sure every one on here knows what they're doing when it comes to the detailing side. But what about all the extracuriculars. You know contacting customers, handling billing, ordering products, printing advertising stuff, payroll, all the stuff other than actually detailing the vehicle. Now my question is when do you all prefer to do this type of stuff. Do you prefer to take an hour or so at the beginning and end of each day to take care of it? Do it as it occurs throughout the day? Take a half day each week and do as much as possible at once? Have a girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse do it? And maybe we can share tips and techniques for making these things go more efficiently.

all of the above? if you're a one man band you're the detailer, the stock boy, the janitor / laundry dept, the bookeeper, the marketing director. When you wear which hat is up to you when you're the boss

I pretty much agree with all of this!!

Generally, the detailer is a 1-man show.

As an individual business owner he's the chief cook and bottle washer doing everything. If he's lucky enough to have a wife or girlfriend that can help out here and there it's all a plus...
