Marketing Bullet Points – Your Input Please.

The information I find on AG does a great job in product knowledge, reviews, and opinions about the products. I’ve read post by new members asking questions regarding marketing ideas, “How to get started in this business of detailing,” etc. When it comes to “Marketing”, there are some good ideas available. However, I thought it might be a good idea for members to give their input with a short bullet point sentence. This could be a useful resource of information to other members, where they could use this information when making their own; website, flyers, brochures, etc.

Your bullet point input would be something you felt caught your customers’ attention when promoting your business.

My hope is this thread will be helpful to all members.

Re: Marketing Bullet Points – Your Input Please.

    I'm just starting out detailing.

I have done door to door marketing with a flier and business cards. It seems to have some effect, not a great one though. Maybe more if you offer a discount if they schedule on the spot?

I also always have a few business cards on hand when I am going around town. If I see a car "worthy" of a detail I will slip a business card under their windshield wiper.

Also, let everyone know! I have told all of my friends, family, and even some acquaintances. My church receives many favors from individuals and sometimes from businesses. As a "Thank You" they have had me detail a few cars on their bill.

    Good luck!

We've put business card on the driver side window (on the side of the window, not the bottom), and generated business, which turned into word of mouth business. We never put business cards on the windshield. There's a thread about putting business cards on cars - got very heated.
