Re: What do mobile detailers do in the winter?
This winter season, I secured a garage. It's a friends garage behind his house that he built to do side jobs, as he's a Lexus Tech. The garage is perfect for continuing any jobs that require paint correction. Otherwise, if its above 32 degrees I'll work outside...just layer up! One thing I do to keep my hands warm, is wear a pair of latex style gloves against my skin, cover with a small pair of cotton gloves, and cover those with dishwasing style gloves.

Good idea with the gloves.
I also work outside as long as it is 35+ and sunny, or not windy.
I have an arrangement with a performance shop as well, where I can rent space for longer jobs when needed.
