Re: New Business Card Design for O.C.Detailing (Lynchburg, VA.) Opinions?
Okay, so I made a MUCH easier to see copy of the card. Could Mike or someone please put it in the first post since I can't edit the post to add the better picture?
Here it is:

I think it looks a lot better than 90% of the cards I see...
-Now here is where my personal preference comes in-
I have never been a fan of vehicles on business cards... I would instead shift that same energy & attention to my logo. Your logo is what you want people to remember not the vehicle on your card... There are other reasons I do not prefer vehicles on cards...
Ok, ok , ok.... Now, all that aside the card is very attractive and it clearly conveys pertinent/essential information

Thank you so much for your compliments and your personal preferences are very much appreciated. I like cars on my cards, and I also LOVE my logo. Also, I'm a HUGE fan of your card in particular and I agree with you on most of your post. For me, I wanted to convey class combined with a little sport and a sprinkle of action to really grab my customer's attention. Then I want them to notice the small details in the card that could, in some obscure way, show my attention to detail in something as insignificant as a business card. It gives them an idea of the level of detail I'll put into their car if they hire me to do some work.
AND....I'm originally from Marquette, MI. Yeah, yeah, I'm a Yooper, I know, but still, we're damn near brothers, separated by a bridge.

Thanks for not taking my comments the wrong way...
Once you get essential contact information on the card, as you have done, it really is all subjective. There is no right or wrong
Like I said, I think it is a very attractive card and you should be proud to hand it out....

Heck no man, EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion. It's all in HOW you give your opinion that matters. You were respectful and upfront without being rude or pushy. That's commendable and deserved a mature, calm response. And I agree with you man. So long as it's not over-the-top, gives the right information that's easily read, then you're good to go.

OH! And Cobalt, thanks for reminding me of the Print Screen button...because of your reminder, I actually did get that better picture by taking a screen shot of my desktop, using Gimp 2 to crop it down to just the card and saved it as a high quality JPEG.
