Most appropriate, time, place to hand out business cards etc?
This question is for everyone here, I got 100 business cards but I don’t want to just leave them anywhere. Where and when is the best time, place, place to actually go up to someone and hand out a business card? I’m talking where a customer won’t likely give you a piece of there mind?
Also what conversation would be ok when handing them out to get business?

I can tell you one thing that as a car guy (or someone who works on others cars to improve the condition) I wouldnt lean over someone elses car, grab their wiper blade and put your card under it. Nor would I shove my card into their window moulding. I would be pretty upset if you wouldnt respect me enough to touch my #### without permission. lol

A friend of mine placed them in mailboxes attached to a flyer of his services. Not sure if he broke any laws there, but he started by putting out 25 of these....ended up with 5 customers from it. Sometimes, you have to wait for the subject to come up in conversation with a potential customer. There are tons of articles on the web with the answer to the exact question you're asking.

To your friend, of course he is breaking a law. A federal law. A mailbox is intended for receipt of postage paid us mail only. That's a no brainer.

Damn. I guess I am a felon.
When I deliver customer cars from the dealership after being serviced, I always place the keys in the mailbox.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

At least you didn't put a cherry bomb or a M-80 in a mailbox.

I would try with you're friends/family businesses first obviously and then maybe napa auto parts stores or places that ur friends with
goes a long way. Also I would give a couple to each costumer that you do a job for so they can give there friends them aswell.
