How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?
How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?
Just curious as to what everyone else charges for an exterior detail using a one-step cleaner/wax or AIO for you guys that don't like to type out one-step cleaner/wax.
This would include at a minimum,
- Wash - however you prefer to do it
- Clay - however you prefer to do it. (actual "clay" or Nanoskin type product)
- Machine apply one-step cleaner/wax.
- Buff glass (while buffing with the one-step cleaner/wax
- Dress tires
- Stick a fork in it and call it done
Let's here some numbers...

As a mobile operator here in Sydney Australia, my prices would vary between $300-$450 depending on the size of the vehicle.

Hope you don't mind but I took you cat picture and made it small as I think this huge photos just junk-up a thread when they're off topic.
I put the photo in you free gallery here on AGO

Thanks for replying with "real" answers guys.
Paul - You're a really good detailer, seems like your customers are getting a GREAT deal. Do you get a lot of referrals and repeat business?
rcoops77 - Is there a currency exchange difference between the U.S. and Australia? I could check but I have a lot on my plate today.

Re: How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?
I don't offer a 1-step, but there have been two cars lately that I got absolutely flawless with just D166. I knocked $75 off for each of those customers which landed them at $325 ($400 is my small, light colored car starting price here in North Mississippi). As far as I'm concerned, my customers are paying me for loading/unloading all my stuff, washing/decontamination, and time away from my family... because I adore the "polishing paint" part and would gladly do that for free!
