Mobile Headlight restorations - Cordless drill or DA (or rotary)?
Quick poll for those doing mobile headlight restorations - are you using a cordless drill or corded (DA or rotary)?
I have been using a Megs G110v2 (3" BP) for F&F but was looking to "expand out." If I was to go entertain the thought of dealerships, I am thinking it may be a pain to run extension cords. (I am not at a point to consider a generator, of course.) The tool would be for sanding as well as polishing. (There's something to be said about working wireless!)
If you are using a cordless drill, etc. how many sets would you say you are getting out of 1 battery? IF cordless - which brand to buy or NOT buy?
Thoughts, please.
Thanks in advance.

Think I've done 5 or 6 pair for one battery
And I used drill for removing pinstripe with an eraser wheel too for a fender

I prefer a rotary so much faster.

Thanks again for your input!

I use a cordless drill for every one I've ever done. Never had any issues. A rotary is probably faster but also 2-3x the price of a good quality cordless drill.

The Flex PE-8 is a headlight restoration monster! I wouldn't leave home without it!
