Cool Supercar-Grade Detailing is $200 twice a year..

Read this "article" on yahoo and thought most of us would find his comments interesting...

If someone owns a supercar I don't think they'd find $400/yr a "massive hit" to their bank account!

9 reasons supercar isn't cracked up - Business Insider

"The implicit requirement that you maintain your supercar in showroom-new condition, if not art-gallery-level nick, is oppressive. These are no machines that you can run through the gas-station car wash. No, they demand detailing. Every single time they're cleaned.

And not just any detailing, but, rather, supercar-grade detailing. So if you're accustomed to that twice-yearly detailing bill of $200, well, get ready for Special Forces-caliber detailing — and the massive hit to your bank account."

    "Special Forces-caliber detailing"

I'm going to have to remember that phrase. "Sorry, your 10 year old minivan with dog hair an inch deep covering all the toddler-litter is going to require Special Forces-caliber detailing"

I think if you're going to do that detail you'll have to get those paper seat protectors in red, white, and blue to make it official.

I also dis agree with that being as a major shocker.

I cant count how many 6-8 year old cars i charge 150-200$ to detail.

For a thorough cleaning "full detail" with a cleaner wax/all in one job that is a common price that many people with daily drivers are willing to spend.

$200 bucks to detail a super car in great condition would be an easy $200. Just don't send me a trashed one and expect me to only charge $200.

I'm sure most people that own "super cars" don't drive them that often. Therefore "they demand detailing. Every single time they're cleaned" would really be overkill.

Imagine his reaction to the price of a professional grade coating. Well, to be fair people don't know what they don't know.
