    Side moldings on my truck...

I want to take my side moldings off my truck. How would I go about doing it?

If they are glued on and there are no screws rivets or clips grab some fishing line and start pulling it through while making a sawing motion. Also look into getting an eraser wheel it will make life 100000x easier. That and goof off.

I was gonna try to do mine. Bought the fishing line and all. Then I had it in the shop for some other body work and asked them how much to remove them. They told me $150 to remove them and polish the paint. I told them do it. It came out great! No scratches, fading or anything. They were on there for 8 years.

    Worth every penny to me.

Heat gun w/ fishing line and goof off or 3M adhesive remover sprayed at the top so it can drip behind mouldings.
