Cracked wax!
I have a tub of carnuba paste wax from Chemical Guys: Celeste Dettaglio in which a friend of mine gave me a good discount for it and got it for a much much cheaper price. I got two younger siblings that I live with in which one of them dropped the container and cause it to crack (not the container but the wax itself) Now my question is can I put this wax together as a whole piece? or do I just have to use it as is? My ex girlfriend to me to heat up the wax to make it soft enough and just part it together but yet I am afraid that the product will loose its life span or simply loose its purpose. Can anyone help me with this such as the best method?

Re: Cracked wax!
I have melted wax before with no ill effects. just make sure you heat it up very slowly until the wax melts. do not heat it up quickly. I put my tub of wax in a pot of water on the stove on low setting

the container was fine. it was made of hard plastic that didn't warp. I should've also mentioned the container of wax was able to float (obviously)

If you mash it with you fingers it will go back together. I use an app pad when doing this
If you heat up the wax don't breath the fumes

Don't heat up the wax as it can change the property's of it. I have wax I've dropped that's spilt 3 or 4 ways just leave it in the tub and it will be fine. Its not really a issue as its pretty much in place in the tub. So its not going anywhere.

Just use it as is. Doesn't matter if it's cracked or not.

Over time, it's very common to for waxes to crack or separate inside the container. This will have no affect on it's application or protection so use as is....

No worries for the wax. It will crack over time. You have an excellent wax. In fact when you use it please give a comment on how you like it. I am currently using Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax and I really like it.
I like trying different waxes and I tried quite a few and so far DSN is great.
You can also use the cracked wax and apply it on a DA for quicker waxing....or I can buy that from you!! Just let me know!!....

Lol, you must not shine your dress shoes. Shoe wax is usually cracked on purchase as it sits around on store shelves so long.
It works just fine cracked. Shoe wax can actually be melted for an easier spread, not sure about car wax. They do use a variety of solvents to keep the wax soft, that's the part I wouldn't want to heat up.
