Mothers Pure Carnuba paste is a perfect example of what BobbyG has mentioned in the quote above. Cracked or not...Mothers paste wax still shines...pun intended.

You wax is fine with a crack. It didn't break the wax. You're good to go.
    Back to the full-time grind.

I don't think it changes its properties because wax is already hot and liquified when it is poured into its container. At least I know of a couple of high end waxes are for sure.

I've melted and re-poured wax and it did end up a bit harder.
I was happy with this outcome because I find applying a thin even coat is easier with a harder wax.

    Re: Cracked wax!

As others have said, you should not heat up/melt a wax. The product will have a high content of volatile solvents. As you heat the wax, some of these solvents will evaporate. When it cools down, the solvent content will be lower which means that the wax content will be higher and the result will be a harder wax which is harder to use.

I like trying different waxes and I tried quite a few and so far DSN is great.

You can also use the cracked wax and apply it on a DA for quicker waxing....or I can buy that from you!! Just let me know!!....
I really like it, I wrote a review on the Chemical Guys wax in which I included this exact one.

I receive quite a few waxes either cracked or with a hole.

    Works great.

Coolness!! I think I am going to buy that next once I use up all the Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax. It's a little pricey but I will give that a go!

    Thanks for the input.

Not a problem, it will be somewhat tedious for the removal process. I expected it to be more easy to remove but I guess not. The smell is really great! Loved it!

There was talk a year or so ago on this forum mike chimed in and it can change the property's of the wax but some people still do it. For a wax at that price not worth the risk.
