The only conditioner leather needs is water.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion; car care is a hobby that will always be filled with opinions on varying subjects.

Here's what I know: every time I apply a leather conditioner, the results are immediately noticeable - the leather feels softer, looks better, and smells better. There is both a visual indication that the conditioner is doing something, along with the obvious difference in feel and smell. That's good enough for me.
