one thing i would suggest you, seal the glass!
you can try the FlyBy30 glass coat we do. there will be much less water drops on surface with that grade of flat glass surface!
I also picked up some Fly By 30 and am looking forward to using it... sounds like a good product, and was priced very reasonably.

Trust is a highly desirable characteristic of a forum member. When I see your thread starters, I know that I'm about to be schooled.
This well written pictorial has me motivated...BUT...
My only DA is a PC. I wonder if I can use a rotary on low rpm's, or should I go to HF?

A PC should be OK. Your going to run it a speed 6. The pad has little mass, the surface is flat, and there isn't a lot of resistance because the polish stays wet. So, there isn't much "bogging down". The Griots just flies on speed 6.
The thing is, you can just polish longer (or again) if need be. Its not like clear coat where you have to worry about "how much do I have left". Glass is thick.
Just make sure your glass isn't coated with something. Usually the tint, defogger, and what not is inside the glass.

Very thorough review!
I loved their glass pads and ceriglass. Years ago before I found autogeek, I used steel wool and stovetop glass cleaner to take the water spots off my glass. Needless to say it scratched and marred the crap out of all my glass. Those pads and polish took out all of the haze. There are still some deeper scratches that remained but I didn't want to polish all day.
That is a great idea drying your pads!
I never cleaned my pads after I finished because I felt like it would disturb the fibers and ruin them. I wonder if cleaning them now would be too late? It's caked on, but I was thinking since ceriglass is water soluble then it might come off easily.
Now coat that glass with something..
