Question - I'm doing a car tomorrow, interior and exterior. If I walk around the car with the customer, perform the inspection, and I quote him $300 - I write $300 in the "Estimate" line. Now, if the interior is another $100, do I put $400 under actual total?

Yes.

Also, if he signs this after he drops his car off, and leaves - lets say after I dig into the car a little further, I find out I need to perform another hour ($30) worth of work. I'd call the customer, inform them, and then what, just leave the form the way it was as he signed it?

Or cross it out and put the new actual total?

Make a note and the change on the original form.

You are responsible to OPEN the file in Microsoft Word and edit it.


If you don't have this ability then you'll have to find someone that can do it for you.

I actually explain this in the e-mail you get and in this thread. There's only so much I can do on my end and then you get to take over.
