I'm going to wait and see what the new Optimum plastic product is about (hopefully it is really coming).

I'm anxious to see what they come out with also. Since I'm going to start offering headlight restoration I need something that will hold up and is easy to apply

I too am interested in UV protection for Headlights. I got a good surface from 3M kit, but I'd like the best protection to keep it looking as it does now. I started by just winging it with my AIO treatment.

I found a kit on ebay for 3M Polish & Protect. It's a 2 part kit similar to what is being suggested in this thread.

how much more diff is this from clear coating the headlights? i've been searching for weeks now and trying to come up with something. i frist tried the urethane/mineral spirits procedure. that worked pretty well but it wont last and wont protect like a clear. whats a water bourne 2K coating?

I recently picked up the Presta kit that has a UV hard coat aerosol. Just trying to find a UV light since I do my work at night.

2K coat is clear coat. The 2k needs an activator mixture.
