Re: Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 - Permanent Paint Protection Made Easy
Will it alao give you the high gloss or mirror like shine like a good wax? If so, this product would cut out alot of steps in the detailing process.

Sorry if my question has been answered, I didn't read the whole thread, only the main post.
From what I've been reading, my Taffeta White 2012 Honda Fit Sport has a single stage paint (not yet confirmed). Is this product a good use for single stage paint?

Re: Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 - Permanent Paint Protection Made Easy
Great review! Makes me really want to try OC. OPT bills it as permanent, and it will shed all contaminants easier, so I guess regular waxing is out. *Sigh* And applying waxes/sealants is so relaxing and therapeutic. LOL
60 bucks a pop seems a little steep, but I think the protection it provides more than makes up for the cost.
Excuse me while I go count all my spare change. One penny, two penny...oh look, a quarter!
It never fails. Whenever anything hits the windshield, it's always on the driver's side....and at eye level!

You get about 3 average sized cars out of each tube, so it is not 60 bucks a pop.

Regrettably, no longer available. Time will tell if this was a good or bad move by OPT.

I just did my first opti coat on a 1994 Porsche 911. It was very different because when applying it you can't see it. It doesn't haze. So you really need to take your time.
