Re: Proper Glass Cleaning Tips & Tricks
I will spray both sides of the windshield and just wipe one side then do the other. This way there is no chance of overspray when doing the other side.

I've often wondered about this too Jenn.
Is the glass waffle weave the same as the guzzler waffle weave and can they be interchanged and still achieve optimum results?
What say you Nick?

Re: Proper Glass Cleaning Tips & Tricks
The glass waffle weaves I have had have a much tighter weave.

The glass towel is lighter and doesn't have the same absorption capacity as the waffle weave drying towels. Without getting into the science that goes behind this, the glass towel just works really, really good.

Just kidding, Nick. Nice work. If you're looking for Show Car results, there's a "better way" for almost every aspect of the detailing process.

You know Bill, I just really enjoy writing and I would be tickled to death if it takes me somewhere someday.
And yes, there is always a better way to do something. But the key is to find something that works for you, and stick with it. I've heard that a couple times from a certain someone at Autogeek.

I feel so stupid now... I've been laying across the hood doing the windshield as one big section.
thanks for the tip!

Any time! That's why I follow Mike around when I'm helping him with a project in the Show Car Garage. He often (ok, always) gives tips that may seem like a no brainer, until you implement them in your work and realize; "Hey, this really works and this guy knows what he's talking about".

Nick, good tip on cleaning your glass when it's cool. Makes a huge difference.
Having the glass cool to the touch is key to perfect vision.

I picked up some of the Cobra glass towels on BOGO and use it with Invisible Glass. Makes exterior and interior windows alike a very very easy task.
