Re: Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax
In regard to application method, I like to do the whole car then remove afterwards. I find this is the fastest way to do it and give maximum time for the wax to haze.
I was really sceptical about this wax after reading you had to warm it up before use, but in reality it's very easy. I put the bottle in hot water before I start washing the car. By the time I am done with the wash the wax is ready to go so there is no wasted time.

Glad you changed your mind about #845 and yeah, the warming it up method is no biggie for sure. That said, if its warm out while your washing your car and you plan to apply a coat, just leave it out in the sun and by the time your done washing your car the #845 will be ready to go. I also couldn't agree with you more about applying it to the entire car AND THEN removing, I've always done it this way, as a matter of fact, after experimenting with all the Collinite products, I do this with all of them

Depending on the time of year, you don't even need to sit it in hot water. If the temps are 70-ish F and sunny or warmer, you can place it in direct sunlight and get the same results. Think of it as a detailer's version of sun tea!
