If a person were to see your video on Youtube and follow your directions they would surely marr the finish...

Yes, let it soak in your wash boucket and you are good to go. Poorboy's Bug Squash does a great job loosening the bugs from the paint, so there is no need to scrub hard with the brush

Another + for poorboys bug squash that stuff rocks, but if I can't buy it in gallons I don't buy it, unless it's wax

Max himself uses it on his Corvette. I can assure you, it doesn't marr the finish if used correctly. I've been using one for over a year and it works flawlessly. I found the key is to use it with warm water. Cold water doesn't soften it up. Warm/hot water and it is super soft.

It's always a good idea to test first, especially if you think you have a car with an older soft single stage paint, but that's pretty rare now days...
I haven't seen them harm clear coat paints... of course, use good technique.

Re: How To: Remove Bugs Safely
Living in Texas, possibly the bug capital, I also endorse Poorboy's Bug Squash. In the summer here I use it daily when I drive (there's no choice) but I prefer microfiber towels to remove the large to tiny bodies and their coloring on my white pearl ride. It has never failed to work. A good sealant on the leading edges of the car does indeed help to remove them. Poorboy's Bug Squash does not remove that protection, just the bugs. It has worked well for me in every instance.
NO, I'm not a shill.

How do you get 21.4 oz to 10.6 oz as being 3 to 1? thats more like 2 to 1, isnt it? 3 to 1 would be more like 24 oz to 8 oz. Or have i been diluting stuff wrong all this time?

24 oz to 8 oz is correct for 3:1

Re: How To: Remove Bugs Safely
Here in Minnesota we have a product called Bugs-B-Gone. Bugs-B-Gone is NOT a petroleum based product - it works by neutralizing the pH of the bugs guts adhering to your bumper.
Spray it on, allow to soak for a few seconds, and simply wipe off with a microfiber towel.
